Our Aratere Plus lounge is a cosy retreat where you can leave the bustle behind and relax with friends, sip upon a beer or wine, and indulge in sweet treats and savoury snacks. 

Built for the Sounds, Aratere has the best outdoor viewing on offer and you can come and go from the Aratere Plus lounge as you please. The upper viewing decks are right outside the lounge, so take a stroll, admire the views, and enjoy that fresh ocean air at your leisure.

Food & Drink included

While the comfy armchairs and child-free atmosphere sets the tone, it is our complimentary Plus Lounge food and licensed bar that makes it an unbeatable experience.

Our Aratere crew love putting on a display, so don't be surprised if an ostentatious High Tea is presented midway through your sailing. More common treats include tasty savoury bites, sushi, sweet tarts, and fine cheeses. 

From the bar, you have a choice of local beers and wines, plus juices, coffees and speciality teas.

With hot and cold food and drinks served the duration of the sailing, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy our onboard delicacies. And the great outdoors beckons if you wish to stretch your legs and make room for some more.

This is a sailing of indulgence and you should treat yourself.

How to upgrade to Aratere Plus

Entry to our Arater Plus lounge can be added to any Aratere sailing, regardless of the fare-type you have chosen.

When making your Aratere booking online, you'll be given the option to add the Plus Lounge if it is still available and providing you have no children on your booking.

If you have already booked online to sail aboard Aratere, then you can login to your booking and add the Plus Lounge now. 

Alternatively, you can call our Contact Centre to add Aratere Plus to your booking or visit the onboard Shop once aboard. We recommend booking Aratere Plus well in advance, as it is very popular fills up quickly.
